Legal Assistance

Indian Jail system is arguably overburdened and overstretched. Government has taken several steps to address the situation. However, much is needed to be done at ground level. The civil right manuals are gathering dust. The constitution guarantees lot of rights but how many know how to read them let alone demand them. In name of injustice lot is beamed by media but the pain of an individual who is feeling vulnerable in hands of law is never felt by anyone. It is easier to raise social issues but equally difficult to get hands dirty to clean the mess.

Those who can’t afford legal expenses, there is free legal advice rendered by government bodies. Although these bodies are reasonably padded and represented but as you know what the quality of something called “FREE” would be. India is saddled with population chaos where every public system comes under immense stress rendering it to function like a patient in ICU.

In crux, we would like to reach those where assistance cannot make its way and we would claim our project to be a success even if one person is helped with a smile of freedom.
